Sitting on the shore of one of the Crater lakes, Jack let out a sigh. Just a few feet in front of him Chompy, his Totodile swam about in the freshwater lake, splashing about and enjoying himself. In the distance, a Swanna swam, gliding above the crystal clear water with her Duckletts in tow not far behind, and somewhere behind him, a herd of Sawsbuck grazed among the trees. This place was truly paradise.
Having been stuck on that ship for a week, the teen and his Pokemon were glad to be out of the cramped cabins that had been filled with Pokemon and their trainers. Now, the two of them could enjoy their vacation and relax, something they both certainly needed. Now that he thought about it, he hadn't really though past them arriving at the Island, but he'd figure everything out later. For now, all that mattered was that Chompy was happy, which currently looked to be the case, thank goodness.

This entire island was complete nature. Not that Shepard minded. He and Vulpix had been taking their time seeing the view and exploring the river that leads into the lake. Shepard had been talking with Fiero about their next move. Expanding the team, for sure. Maybe finding a gym to challenge as soon as they got stronger. The dirt and grass slowly turned into the sand as they reached the shore of Crater Lake. In the distance, Shepard could spot Lividus town. Maybe it was the one on the lake with all the houseboats. It sounded pretty cool, the blond figured, overlooking the glistening water that gently lapped at the shore.
The long moment spent staring off was enough for the vulpix to leave Shepard's side, sniffing along the roots of the brushes. Looking up, to see Jack, Fiero let out a bark, heat grazing the boy's arm. Bristling, the fire pokemon began to slowly back up, elegant tail swishing.

Having been leaning back on his arms with his legs sprawled out in front of him, the sudden hot sensation followed with a shrill bark sent him to jump. What the heck was that? Whipping around, Jack spotted a blond boy and a Vulpix, which was most likely his. How had he not even heard them come up from behind? Well, him and the little canine pokemon had both startled each other, in some form or another, and he was personally glad to get acquainted with another person, assuming the kid wanted to as well.
Standing up, the tall student clapped his hands together in efforts to rid them of sand that stuck onto them. A smile on his face, he walked towards the blonde, running a hand through his brunette locks which he made sure to take extra good care of on a regular basis. "Sorry, I didn't even hear ya!" he chuckled and held out a hand once he reached Shep.
Having heard the commotion from the water's edge, Chompy looked to see a little fire dog and a stranger human, and he wasn't about to have it, especially if his person was in danger. Waddling out of the water, the Totodile made his way up the shoreline and towards the group, his little arms extended and mouth open, showing pearly white teeth as an oh-so-threatening hiss emerged from deep in his throat. No one would hurt his trainer, no one!

This place was so amazing! So many nooks and crannies to explore, and experience things that she wouldn't be able to back in the city. When she first got off the boat she felt flabbergasted by the island. It was too ginormous for her naive city mind to comprehend. She was eager to meet new people and new pokemon, and so was her partner. Astra's eevee is certainly a troublemaker. He took advantage of his trainers confused and dazzled state, beginning to run towards a nearby forest to explore by himself. When Astra noticed that eevee wasn't nearby she started to panic, her head spun in all sorts of directions to try and locate him, thats when she saw his silhouette booking it into the woods.
"Darn it Eevee!" She yelled, running as fast as she could after him. Eventually she came across a lake that was hidden within the forest. She saw two other guys with their pokemon but not her's. "AGH!" She said in frustration, she looked over towards the trainers. "H-hello.." She said shyly, her cheeks flushed. "Have you seen an eevee around here?"

Honestly, Lydia loves this place. Unova was usually pretty rural, but this region! There was so much nature, and both Lydia and Kora enjoy it greatly. Wandering between the vastly different ecosystems was so interesting. Her buddy Trapinch rushed beside her. Although Lydia's walking speed was the same as Trapinch's speed-walk. Kora seemed to take a liking to this place. He barked a bit and rushed fowards. She smiled down at Kora, then looked forward to see some in the distance. One had a Vulpix with them, which was what Kora was paying attention to. She sighed, as she wasn't exactly a people person. She walked towards the others, as Kora rushed over and looked at the humans and pokemon.
Kora looked towards the Vulpix and stared at it for a little bit, before he shuffled his stubby legs for a bit before pawing at the ground like an excited Growlithe. Lydia ran over before she stopped beside Kora. She pet his head for a bit before shyly smiling at the trainers around them.

"Ah--" Shepard managed, seeing the other trainer holding his hand out for Shepard to shake. "Yeah, no worries. I was just enjoying the lake, I got lost in thought." He admitted with a laugh. Sliding his hands into his pockets casually, he offered the other boy a smile. "Are you enj--" He was cut off by a girl runing their way, her shy nature had the girl stopping a few feet away, so Shepard closed the distance between the two, concern in his eyes. "An eevee? No, I'm sorry. Did it run off?" He pressed, beginning to looked around, somehow missing his own pokemon not too far away.
Fiero watched the other trainer run over to speak with her trainer. Instead of joining them, the vulpix began to lick her paw, taking away the sand that already got in her fur. The slosh of the water and Fiero lifted her head to watch a Totodile approach her, teeth bared in a growl. Leaping to her feet, the fire type growled back, but not giving ground. It was only until an Trapinch joined her, did she decidedly stick close to the new pokemon, now pitting the two of them against the water type. Fiero pushed her flank against the similar sized pokemon for comfort. Who even was this guy?

Kora looked at the Totodile as warm fur pressed against his thick skin. He tilted his head to the side like a confused Lillipup. Was this Totodile threatening the Vulpix? Kora didn't know whether or not to attack, so he quickly looked around for his trainer for guidance.
Lydia stared at the trainers, waving a small "Hello", before staring over towards Kora. He flicked a bit of sand towards the Totodile and looked at her expectantly. Lydia realized what he was trying to say, then shook her head no.
Kora looked back at the Totodile and dipped his head a bit. He wouldn't attack anyone unless his guardian told him to. Lydia looked towards the other trainers. "So uh... hi..." she greeted a bit quietly. "I'm Lydia, and..." she pointed towards the Trapinch, "That's Kora..." She wasn't anxious or shy or anything, she just didn't really talk to people that often.

Surprised to see two more people join them, Jack waited for them to join the two boys, one of them with her Pokémon not far behind, and the other looking a bit more frantic. Listening as she expressed her panic over her Eevee being missing, Jack hadn't seen the little Pokémon wandering about and shrugged his shoulders as the other boy replied.
"Hey there, I'm Jack," he introduced himself, turning to Lydia with a smile that reached from both his ears. Before he was able to say anything else, he noticed his Totodile making his way up to them. Once close enough, the tall boy scooped up the reptile in his arms, holding his tightly so that he wasn't able to squirm out of his arms. "And this his Chompy!" he exclaimed.
