Rollercoasters, ferris wheels, and bumper cars, oh my!

It was amazing, how loud and flashy everything was.
Hands in her pockets, a lone girl wandered through the bustling amusement park. Her long red hair fell in waves down her back from the hairtie she'd messily confined it to, and locks of it that had slipped from the band framed her face. The Eevee perched on her shoulder wasn't helping, as with every step the Pokémon's head brushed against her trainer's. Neither of the pair seemed to care much though, as their eyes were fixed on the colorful flashing lights of the park around them.
Neither of them had seen such a thing before.
Kari wasn't particularly familiar with so much neon. Having grown up in a very rural area in a place that could barely even be considered a city, only to move to Mauville, neon wasn't a particularly common sight for her. Mauville had a lot of lights, but Wattson hadn't incorporated this much color into the shining city. The flood of color and the rush of loud, bouncy music wowed the teen. Her partner seemed just as struck by the park. Edera was even less familiar with such sights, but unlike Kari the Eevee felt more overwhelmed than fascinated. Granted, she couldn't easily convey this to her trainer... so she accepted their surroundings and settled for hiding her ears in her little hood in hopes it would work to block out some of the sound.
Oblivious to the discomfort of her Eevee, the redhead kept walking. Her scarlet gaze flickered up to study the Pokémon themed rollercoaster that loomed before her. She recognized the Pokémon it seemed to be modeled after, but didn't remember the name of the blue, serpentine creature. She failed to notice the sign boldly flashing the name as thoughts of riding the winding, looping attraction dominated her attention. The wind in her face... the screams of the other passengers...
Too bad she was broke as fuck.
