Welcome to the Amrys Islands
These islands were once as remote, poor, and isolated as they were brimming with diverse life and natural beauty. That all changed with the arrival of Sachihiro Park — a businessman with the intent of establishing the world's most premier Pokémon League! Over the last several decades, in collaboration with native leaders and Citadel Co., Park's new league has helped in heavily developing and industrializing the region. The island paradise has since transformed into a global hub of culture, business, and tourism.
Meanwhile, the Lotus Society brims behind the scenes, a dark and mysterious organization hell-bent on world-changing power and cult-like unity with an obsession with acquiring legendary Pokémon. Their influences spread like tendrils, closer than you think...
Catch, breed, and battle Pokémon across a fully fleshed out region, continually adding new areas. You can start wherever you want, and challenge the gym leaders in any order, or help your friends and allies get to the top!

LEGAL STARTERS FOR LEAGUE TRAINERS
Most starters must be stage 1 Pokémon, excluding legendary/mythical Pokémon and Ultra Beasts (Non-League trainers also cannot have legendary or mythical creatures). Check the Roleplaying Rules in the 'Main Rules' thread for more information.
LEGAL MOVESETS
Tiers are equivalent to 5 levels in the games. Your Pokémon can learn any of the moves they can learn at the games in those levels. Please use the latest released mainline game as reference for movesets (currently UltraSun/UltraMoon).
For League trainers, your starter may know 1 eligible egg move of your choice. Pokémon you hatch will know your choice of any 2 eligible egg moves, regardless of parents. Caught Pokemon without a damaging move in its caught tier may also know 1 eligible egg move of your choice.
When you successfully defeat a league challenge or complete a quest, you are rewarded with 2 eligible TM or Move Tutor moves of your choice.
Like the games, you may only know 4 moves at a time.
Battle System made easy
At first glance, the Battle System can seem like a dizzying torrent of information, but don't panic!
There's nothing in this system you have to memorize, and you barely even have to do any math. It's designed to read as you go. To make things simple, you will want to keep track of your Pokémon's HP, modifiers, accuracy rolls, and damage rolls in your Trainer Log. Once you have easy access to this information, for yourself as well as other players, battles are just a matter of rolling the dice.
This is an example of what a Tier 1 Bulbasaur would look like in our system:
Bulbasaur, Tier 1
Overgrow: +2 damage modifier to Grass-type moves when HP falls below 1/3.
24 HP / 4 Defense / 5 Sp. Defense / +0 Speed
Tackle, Physical (1d20 + 3 accuracy)
1d4 + 0 ATK + Tier 1 = Damage
Growl, Status (1d20 + 3 accuracy)
Lowers target's Attack by -1 stage.
Keep this information handy, and you only need to update when your Pokémon pals Tier up and learn new moves or evolve into new forms.
HOW TO ROLL THE DICE
In the full Reply mode, you can just hit the Insert Die button in the upper left corner. Otherwise, you have to type out the code.
The range of the die is how many faces it has. By default, this is 1-20. This would be a single twenty-sided die. You could change this to 1-6, 3-12, or whatever combination of numbers you needed.
Here's an example of different rolls and what the final product look like.
JpqbtFng1-5
1d20
2d8 + 3
1d8 - 1
For the purposes of the system, you may see rolls listed as 'XdY'; e.g. '1d20' or '2d8'. X represents how many die you want to roll. Y represents how many faces the die has. Most rolls use one or more modifiers, which add or subtract from the number you roll. Combine all the relevant modifiers together when performing your roll; an example of this might be '1d20 + 5'.
